Financial Markets

Financial markets is a kind of virtual place where different kinds of financial products are sold such as stocks, bonds,  options and futures, derivatives and many more financial assets. The interactions of buyers and sellers in a financial market determine the price of the financial assets. Financial markets provide a mechanism  for trading and exchanging financial assets among the investors. Financial markets also provide liquidity facilities for selling and buying various kinds of financial assets.

Classification of Financial markets: There are many kinds of financial markets for example, primary market, secondary market, money market, capital market, derivative market and so on. Over the counter market is a special kind of financial market where non-listed stock and bond are sold i.e. not in an organized way or market and it is sold on spot basis.
